Endometriosis

Identifying Symptom Patterns in Endometriosis Patients

Endometriosis is a chronic, inflammatory, estrogen-dependent gynecological disease that affects 10% of women. It is a multi-systemic disease, affecting different organs in the pelvic area and beyond. As a result, the variety of symptoms each patient experiences can be overwhelming. For many patients, this disease seems to be unpredictable.

Our study aims to identify patterns of specific symptoms during the hormonal cycle. We will collect information on patients’ symptoms individually, on a daily basis, and explore whether the symptoms of endometriosis patients follow a cyclic pattern, potentially relative to the different stages of the hormonal cycle.
