Alon’s research at KI focuses on applying machine learning algorithms to EHR data. Concurrently, Alon is pursuing a PhD in computer science focusing on the foundations of machine learning. For his PhD research he has been awarded the Google Doctoral Fellowship and the Dan David Scholarship.
Alon earned a BSc in mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MSc in computer science at Tel Aviv University (both summa cum laude). During his PhD and prior to KI, Alon was a research intern at Microsoft Research and NVIDIA and worked on privacy in machine learning, computer vision and deep learning methods for graph structured data.
Alon enjoys beach volleyball and tennis. As an avid learner, Alon is constantly looking to expand his horizons and is always thirsty for knowledge.
